Scoliosis Bracing & Treatment

The East Valley’s premiere office for the non-surgical treatment of scoliosis. With a family history of scoliosis, our focus is on improving our patients condition. Each patient's rehabilitation course is tailored to the patients specific type and magnitude of scoliosis. At times our Scoliosis Specific exercise programs are used in conjunction with a Scoliosis brace and some time no brace is required.

Scoliosis Treatments

The type of Scoliosis exercise program we use in our facility is called SEAS and stands for Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis. The basis of the program is teaching the patient a specific order of postural movements that straightens the scoliosis. Once the patient can master the movements without assistance and hold that movement for 10-20 seconds periods, challenges are then added to the program to challenge the patients ability to perform androld the movement, while doing other activities. This helps to drive the muscular movement patterns into the nervous system so the body will hold the correction subconsciously.

Worried About Scoliosis?

You should be! The wait and see what happens approach to treating scoliosis is outdated.  With our clinical emphasis in scoliosis treatment, we see patients from around the country that have been told to wait and see what happens by other providers.  With today's advanced knowledge of scoliosis treatments, taking quick, non-invasive action to stop the progression of a spinal curvature yields far better results than watching it progress to the point that surgical intervention may be required.

Sometimes, the curve can be caused by something as simple as a short leg. This common condition can cause a spine to start to curve. Untreated, it often leads to pain and back problems as it progresses. Caught early, a simple heel lift can stop the pain and start the body on correcting the deformity all on its own.

Non-Surgical Scoliosis Treatment

Along with our structural CBP chiropractic method, we offer the most reliable types of Scoliosis treatment available. This includes the S.E.A.S (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis) exercise method, which has over 60 index medicus studies to its credit, the soft dynamic SpineCor Brace, the rigid over-corrective ScoliBrace, a night time brace termed the Scoli Night Brace, and also a KyphoBrace, for Kypho scoliosis.

We are the only facility in the state that offers all of these treatment options in one facility, giving patients all of the best options to choose from. We have had great success with both children and adults with scoliosis. Our goal with scoliosis treatment is to first assess progression risk, which drives our clinical decisions about whether CBP Chiropractic and SEAS exercises will be effective on their own to stabilize or correct the curve or if there will be a need for bracing and which type of bracing will be most beneficial.

In the large majority of Scoliosis cases we are able to help the patients without surgery, but in cases where surgical intervention is necessary, we assist the patients in making the best decisions about which course of action is best for them.
